Spicy Stir-Fried Vegetables

Instructions

1️⃣ Prep the Vegetables

  1. Wash and slice all the vegetables evenly so they cook quickly and retain their crunch.
  2. Keep the ingredients ready as stir-frying happens fast once you start.

2️⃣ Make the Sauce

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), chili sauce, sesame oil, and a pinch of pepper. Adjust spice level to your liking.

3️⃣ Stir-Fry the Vegetables

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the carrots and broccoli first — cook for about 2–3 minutes since they take longer to soften.
  4. Add the zucchini and bell pepper, stirring constantly for another 2–3 minutes until all vegetables are tender-crisp.

4️⃣ Add the Sauce & Toss

  1. Pour the prepared sauce over the vegetables and toss to coat evenly. Stir-fry for 1–2 minutes until everything is well mixed and glossy.
  2. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt or more chili sauce if needed.
