Strawberry Earthquake Cake

🍰 Instructions

1️⃣ Cake Base

1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).A properly heated oven helps the cake rise evenly while maintaining moisture.
2. Prepare the strawberry cake mix according to the box instructions (add eggs, oil, and water and mix).Mix until smooth and lump-free; avoid overbeating to keep the crumb tender.
3. Pour half of the batter into a greased 23×33 cm (9×13 inch) baking pan.A thin first layer allows the cream cheese mixture to sink in naturally as it bakes.

2️⃣ Add the Strawberries

4. Sprinkle half of the chopped strawberries evenly on top.The fruit softens as it bakes, creating juicy pockets of strawberry throughout the base.
