Summer Squash Pizza with Burrata & Basil

Directions

1️⃣ Preheat the Oven

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it preheats to ensure a crisp crust. Lightly grease a baking sheet or pizza stone with olive oil or nonstick spray.

2️⃣ Prep the Vegetables

  1. In a small mixing bowl, toss the sliced zucchini, yellow squash, and cherry tomatoes with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, dried oregano, a pinch of salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Coat evenly — this step ensures the vegetables roast beautifully while maintaining flavor and moisture.

3️⃣ Assemble the Pizza

  1. Roll out or stretch your pizza dough on a lightly floured surface until it reaches your desired thickness (about ¼ inch for a crisp crust).
  2. Transfer the dough to the prepared baking sheet or preheated pizza stone.
  3. Arrange the seasoned vegetables evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges for the crust.
  4. Drizzle the remaining olive oil over the top for extra richness.

4️⃣ Add the Cheese and Herbs

  1. Scatter the chopped basil leaves evenly across the pizza.
  2. Place torn pieces of burrata cheese over the vegetables, spacing them evenly so each bite has creamy texture.
  3. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese across the surface. Add a light pinch of red pepper flakes if you enjoy a subtle kick of heat.

5️⃣ Bake the Pizza
