Sweet Potato Casserole with Pecan Streusel (Cozy & Crunchy Holiday Favorite)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Sweet Potato Base

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×9-inch or 8×11-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine mashed sweet potatoes, melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon (if using), and salt.
  3. Mix until smooth and well blended. You can use a hand mixer or mash and mix by hand.
  4. Spread the sweet potato mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.

Step 2: Make the Pecan Streusel

  1. In a medium bowl, combine chopped pecans, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon (if using), and melted butter.
  2. Stir until crumbly and all ingredients are moistened.
