Swiss Mushroom Burgers – Juicy, Cheesy & Loaded with Flavor

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Mushrooms & Onions:

  1. In a medium skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced mushrooms and onions, and sauté for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and caramelized.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside. 🍄🧅

2️⃣ Form the Burger Patties:

  1. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions.
  2. Form into patties slightly larger than the buns, about ¾ inch thick. Avoid overhandling to keep them tender.
  3. Season both sides with salt and freshly cracked black pepper. 🥩

3️⃣ Cook the Burgers:

  1. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Cook the patties for 3–4 minutes per side, or until they reach your preferred doneness.
  3. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Swiss cheese on each patty and cover the skillet for 30 seconds to melt. 🔥🧀
