Toasted Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwiches

Preparation

1️⃣ Prepare the Cheesecake Filling

  • Beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla with a mixer until smooth and creamy. The mixture should become glossy and spreadable, with no lumps. Allowing the cream cheese to reach room temperature helps it blend quickly and prevents graininess.

2️⃣ Assemble the Sandwiches

  1. Spread a generous layer of the cheesecake filling onto each slice of bread. Cover the surface evenly so the filling melts uniformly when heated.
  2. Arrange the sliced strawberries on top of the filling. Try to distribute them evenly so every bite includes a balance of sweetness and creaminess.
  3. Cover with another slice of bread to form a sandwich, pressing gently around the edges to help the layers adhere. If using puff pastry instead of bread, assemble similarly but be mindful that puff pastry will cook faster and rise more noticeably.
