Ultra Moist and Fudgy Chocolate Cake 🍫✨

👩‍🍳 Preparation

1️⃣ Prepare the Dry Mixture

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until evenly combined.

2️⃣ Add the Wet Ingredients

  • Add in the eggs, buttermilk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
  • Mix with a hand whisk or mixer until the batter is smooth and lump-free.

3️⃣ Pour in the Hot Coffee

  • Slowly pour the hot coffee into the batter while whisking gently.
  • The batter will be very thin—this is expected and helps create an ultra-moist cake texture.

4️⃣ Bake

  • Preheat oven to 170°C (340°F).
  • Grease and line a 24 cm (9–10 inch) round cake pan.
  • Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 40–45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Let the cake cool completely in the pan before removing.
