Instructions
- Prepare the Rice Krispies base:
In a large saucepan, melt the salted butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the mini marshmallows and stir constantly until fully melted and smooth. The butter and marshmallows should create a creamy mixture that will hold the Rice Krispies together. - Mix in the Rice Krispies:
Remove the saucepan from heat. Add the Rice Krispies cereal to the marshmallow mixture, stirring gently but thoroughly to coat the cereal evenly with the sticky marshmallow mix. Be careful not to crush the cereal too much; you want to keep the crispy texture intact. - Fold in the Oreos:
Gently fold in the chopped Oreo cookies, making sure they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture. The Oreo chunks will add texture and a deliciously indulgent flavor to the treats. - Press into a pan:
Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray, or line it with parchment paper for easy removal. Pour the Rice Krispies mixture into the dish and press it down evenly with a spatula or your hands. You can grease the spatula to prevent sticking. Press gently but firmly to compact the mixture without mashing it too much. - Prepare the white chocolate topping:
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips with the vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is smooth and fully melted. The oil helps make the white chocolate smooth and easier to spread over the Rice Krispies. - Top the Rice Krispies:
